Base Milano Fashion Graduate Italia makes its annual return from October 24th until the 26th: 3 days of events entirely dedicated to fashion and stories that come alive in the creations and projects of the future fashion professionals; runway shows, talks and chances to meet – both digitally and in person – with sector experts and with spaces in which to “live” the Italian fashion educational system and the Italian and international students from the main fashion academies’ creativity.
Once again, our Institute will participate in the event with:
the SECOLI BOOTH, a space open every day with the exposition of the collections BEYOND THE MOMENT and BEYOND EMOTIONS that were showcased in SFS2023 along with the project "4 decades of young trend-setters", a celebration of the 40 year anniversary of the Secoli Fashion Show, and an artistic interpretation of the last 4 decades by Istituto Secoli students who, starting from a socio-cultural analysis of each decade, brought back movements and trends re-elaborating them in representative graphics printed on organic cotton T-SHIRTS;
on October 17th at 9.45 am THE LECTURE online titled “DRESSING IN DIGITAL” that delves into the relationship between body and garment, between clothing and identity in the digital society. For the occasion, Istituto Secoli’s teachers will bring examples of creative development and fashion product design based on sociological research and analysis through the use of digital tools from the third millennium Procreate and Clo3d;
on October 26th at 5.00 pm the FASHION SHOW of the 8 Designer to Watch 2023 who will bring their unreleased capsule collections to the runway.
