Generating work of good quality, supporting the sectors that can produce it, is the goal of Manifattura Milano, the program of the Municipality of Milan for the promotion of new crafts, technologies for the 4.0 industry and digital manufacturing. This year our Institute also participates in the "Manifatture Aperte" initiative scheduled for Saturday 29 September.
The event intends to open the places of manufacturing production to citizenship, with the aim of enhancing the local businesses and making known the manufacturing experiences present in the city and in the neighboring countries, with particular attention to the food, fashion and furniture sectors. On that day the school organizes two workshops at its premises during which the participants will have the opportunity to approach the "Secoli Method", visiting the modeling and packaging laboratories and getting in touch with the teaching staff who will explain to them the delicate phases of the process of making a garment.
