The 40th edition of the Secoli Fashion Show has now come to an end: in front of a large audience, the students who at the end of their three-year course of study brought their collections to the runway. Once again, celebrating the anniversary alongside the Institute: the Regione Lombardia, which contributed to the realization of the initiative, the Comune di Milano and the most important associations of the fashion industry: Antia, Camera Nazionale della Moda, IACDE, Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, Sistema Moda Italia.
Opening the show were the collections of the 'Designer To Watch' project, followed by the Secoli Fashion Show 2023 inspired by the concept WHERE HERE - 'What you create depends on what you see'.
With the occasion of the 40th edition, the format of the event was enriched; several contributions were enjoyed by the guests: at the entrance they were welcomed with a free gift, a printed organic cotton T-shirt whose graphic subject, representative of one of the various cultural eras that have followed one another from the 1980s to the present day, was created by the students enrolled in Year Two; and again, before taking their seats at the sides of the catwalk, the guests went through an immersive and emotional journey through the history of the Secoli Fashion Show: music video installations recounting the fashion shows that followed each other from 1984 until 2022; upon arrival in the hall that preceded the fashion show, to welcome them was the virtual fashion show "4 DECADES OF SECOLI FASHION SHOW" with 5 outfits selected from the designs that walked in the 1985, 1996, 2010, 2016 and 2022 editions which summarized the evolution of fashion from the 1980s to today.
Closing the event, as every year, thanks to the support and collaboration of the partner companies, the awarding of the students who have shown great commitment throughout their education.
