In the past days we had as our guest in Istituto Secoli Ornella Bignami - soul of the creative consultancy company Elementi Moda Milano and Education Supervisor for ALLIANCE FOR FLAX-LINEN & HEMP, the only agro-industrial European Association that gathers and promotes every step of linen and hemp’s supply chain, from the fields to the finished product in Italy. Ornella Bignami held a seminar in Milan’s headquarter to illustrate the countless aspects of European linen and hemp in every area of use: fashion, interior design, furniture, composites and technical products. Like every year the talk was for our Year One students a chance to expand their knowledge on the multiple properties of these fibers.
