On 18 March, was signed a collaboration between Istituto Secoli and the renowned designer LIU YANG for the creation of the scholarship for the fashion culture Istituto Secoli-Liu Yang, for the three-year courses that the school provides at its based in Guangzhou, China.
The partnership was announced at the opening of the Guangdong Fashion Week 2018, which involved leading figures from the local fashion sector. In over 80 years of history, it is the first time that the Istituto Secoli has started a collaboration with a Chinese fashion designer: this choice aims to be an instrument designed to encourage and support young Chinese talents too, with a view increasingly of exchange cultural, on an international basis.
With the promotion of this scholarship, in favor of the culture of fashion, the School continues to pursue its main objective, that is to transmit to young students a professional method that allows them to design and create perfectly designed clothes.
