Once again, Istituto Secoli is stepping forward to give support to talent and training.
From the synergy between the Department for Employment Policies of the Municipality of Milan, the Salvatore Ferragamo Group and Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS, the project “Milano and Ferragamo for the training of young talents” is born, to give advanced training to deserving students from Scuole civiche di Moda e Sartoria in via Fleming and via Visconti in Milan.
This initiative will give out 4 scholarships of the overall value of 30 thousand euros to enroll in a three-year post diploma course in a Fashion Academy/Institute; 4 educational establishments have made themselves available to economically sustain the attendance to 4 three-year post diploma courses of 4 students; along with Istituto Secoli: Accademia Costume&Moda, IUAD and NABA.
In the Palazzo Marino setting, on September 6th, during the press conference to present the project, Matteo Secoli, both President of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo moda and President of Istituto Secoli, the Councilor for Economic Development and Labour Policies of the Municipality of Milan Alessia Cappello, and the President of Salvatore Ferragamo Group Leonardo Ferragamo, together with the single schools’ spokespeople, handed over the scholarships to the students who will attend the fashion courses; Stephanie Zuniga will enter the “Fashion Design and Technologies” course in our school.
Matteo Secoli comment on the initiative: "Once again, the collaboration between Brand, Institutions and educational realities proves to be a winning one. We are happy to be able to participate alongside Ferragamo and the Municipality of Milan in this project aimed at future designers: our three-year course in Fashion Design and Fashion Product Technology represents a concrete opportunity for training and entry into the world of fashion”.
