On February 18, inside the international exhibition dedicated to footwear, space for sustainability and young designers!
Istituto Secoli takes part in Micam within the special "MICAM X FASHION SQUARE" area, the ideal setting for the "Elements of Sustainability" fashion show, born as part of the partnership between Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, Fashion Graduate Italy and Micam.
On the catwalk there will be the ENSO collection by Micol Rizzi, designer with a marked sensitivity for art in all its forms.
In the ENSO capsule collection, the key element is the relationship with nature expressed with eco-sustainable fabrics that lead back to the concept of 'rewarding for sight, spirit and mind'. There are two principles that inspired ENSO: the 'ma' that expresses the void and the 'Kanji' writing system used by the monks. The first is expressed in the relationship between dress and body, recreated through large garments, tightened by cords or buttons and changing volumes. The second is expressed by all over prints made with natural dyes.
Micol comments "When I was asked to participate in the" Elements of Sustainability "fashion show, I was honored. It is a unique opportunity for me to show that producing innovative and sustainable clothes with a low environmental impact is feasible, as well as trendy. I want to make the most of this opportunity to make myself known as an emerging designer with a focus on the "greener" aspect of the fashion world. "
