Re-Wear: this is the theme of the third edition of Dreamers, a project on independent fashion and research that will take place in Turin from 1 to 4 November at Toolbox as part of the Contemporary Art Turin event dedicated to languages.
The 2018 edition aims to explore the sustainability of fashion as a reflection that identifies in the fusion of ethics and aesthetics the common denominator of all the projects on stage. Within this context are two selected garments, signed by fashion designer Greta Moroni, former student Secoli and emerging talent of the fashion system: the first, belonging to the capsule "UTOPIA FOR A POSITIVE WORLD" - collection that was awarded the Ecologic Contest Prize by Shenzen; the second, instead, is taken from the capsule protagonist of the SECOLI FASHION SHOW 2018 "FREEDOM OF WALKING ON THE FLOWER BEDS - conscious collection", a real denunciation of the discomfort of the modern world through the use of garments as a voice of contrast to the consumerism society.
