Designer to Watch with the collection "Faux Real"
Faux Real
Mankind, through social media, tries to imitate a version of itself which doesn’t exist in reality. What remains is an identity that is rotten and inevitably compromised. The collection represents the radicalization of this way of life: a secondary entity which takes shape, invades and conditions real life. It’s something visceral, disturbing and shifting, expressed through abstract prints inspired by Igor Skaletsky. Lines refer to the style of the anti-rock duo “Faux Real”.
