The current changes are bringing the focus back to the origins of Made in Italy, to craftsmanship, an element that has always been the fulcrum of Made in Italy. At the same time new professions are being created with the evolution of digital design. Companies are now looking for young people, professionally trained, capable of bridging a generational gap that has characterized the fashion sector for years, but also ready to respond to market demands and the opportunities offered by new technologies.
Our institute is a fashion school capable of providing undergraduates and fashion
professionals with all the knowledge, techniques, methodologies, sewing skills and
culture necessary to successfully face the challenges of the fashion market. We do
this using our method that since the beginning has been based on the creative
practicality of "Making Fashion".
"Creative practicality: the art of transforming an idea into a perfectly conceived
and subsequently realized garment. Knowing how to design a garment and a collection,
knowing the processes and techniques of the modern fashion industry: this is what is
studied at Istituto Secoli, where skills are constantly integrated with transversal
knowledge, creating career paths suitable for successful fashion makers and
tomorrow's fashion designers.
The President
Matteo Secoli
Thanks to its unique position and capacity for dialogue within the fashion world, the institute is an important reference point for recruiting highly trained figures to be placed in professional positions. Many of our alumni now work at the top of the fashion industry and are famous designers: 85% of Secoli alumni enter the working world within six months of finishing their studies, highly qualified and working for some of the most prestigious companies.
