Istituto Secoli was accredited by Regione Lombardia in 2004, which issues a certificate to students in relation to the skills they acquired during their training programme, in coherence with QRSP (regional professional standard of Regione Lombardia). QRSP (based on rules, consistent with European and national frameworks) is a unique reference which is able to certify acquired skills for public acknowledgment. Upon completing a training programme and after passing a final examination every student receives a certificate.
The Istituto Secoli Quality System was found to comply with ISO 9001/UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 for “the provision of vocational training courses for technical professionals in the fashion and clothing industry”.
In 2014, Istituto Secoli obtained a Certificate of Quality: Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda. It is the first school that is able to offer specific training programmes for the Fashion industry whereby quality is certified and recognised by industry experts.
Istituto Secoli has an Ethical Code for its proper functioning, reliability and reputation. All Members of the Institute (at all membership levels) should uphold these ethical principles in all aspects of their professional work.
Istituto Secoli has partnered up with several important organisations and associations. Its main goal is to promote the school on an international level by developing projects with the most prestigious protagonists in the fashion industry, including ANTIA, IACDE, PSFM, SMI, to name but a few.
ANTIA National Association of Technical Fashion Professionals
Created in 1970 and based in Milan, ANTIA is an association of technical fashion experts which boasts more than 200 members. Its main goals are to promote connections between people who share the same interests and aspirations, spreading knowledge and training young generations.
IACDE International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives
The IACDE Association, founded in the 70s, is made up of designers of the fashion industry’s best companies, technicians, sales directors and manufacturers. It is a non-profit association which organises meetings and events to enrich members professionally, supporting, at the same time, the training of young generations.
PIATTAFORMA SISTEMA FORMATIVO MODA
The association was established in Milan in 2008. It brings together Italian institutes, academies and universities that provide full or partial education in fashion. All partner schools have a strong heritage of Italian culture, history and industry. Its basic goals are: the assertion of the identity of the Italian fashion education system, the promotion of excellence and the support of an open and constant exchange between school and industry, also in relation to excellent education systems at an international level.
SMI Italian Fashion and Textile Industry Federation
SMI is one of the biggest organisations in the world in the fashion and textile industry. The Federation encompasses more than 400,000 employees and almost 50,000 companies. It's also of fundamental importance for the Italian manufacturing industry. Its main goals are to protect and promote the members’ interests as well as representing, both nationally and internationally, the entire supply chain, in terms of relationships with institutions, public administrations, trade unions and financial, political and social organisations.

industry is part of an overall strategy which also represents one of its main hallmarks.
Today, there are numerous fashion professionals who choose our courses to improve their technical abilities, as well as companies which need Istituto Secoli’s organisational consultancy and training courses for their staff.
