“This year Istituto Secoli celebrates 90 years, an important anniversary for our fashion school which I proudly say is the longest running in Italy. The Designer to Watch project, established in 2018, well represents, through the creations of some of our most talented students, the educational excellence of the school which for 9 decades has taught how to combine creativity, technique and innovation." - states Matteo Secoli – President of Istituto Secoli. “Each garment is the culmination of a research process, where shapes and volumes combine with the choice of the most suitable materials, with attention paid, today more than ever to sustainability and the best craftsmanship available. Our teaching methods are based on the concept that without a path to guide creativity and offer practical tools, there can be no excellence in creating clothes that are aesthetically beautiful as well as functional and effectively constructed."
