GRETA MORONI'S CAPSULE COLLECTION, STUDENT OF ISTITUTO SECOLI, FLIES TO CHINA FOR A GREEN CONTEST

Born in Milan in 1993, 23 years old, Greta Moroni is an italian young designer, student of Istituto Secoli who has launched her own S/S 2018 womenswear collection titled “Utopia for a positive world”.  The entire collection is based on an achievable utopia: living in a better world is possible, spreading also positive messages. The collection, extremely versatil, is very attentive to nature inviting to a deep meditation on global pollution.  The palette includes white and black shades with a particular attention to fabrics and eco-sustainability: biological cotton, hemp, linen and newlife yarn 100% producted with plastic bottles recycled. Lastly, handmade embroideries and writtens in cloth enrich creations.

The capsule collection has been selected for the final of International Ecologic Fashion Design Contest’s first edition, the first Chinese competition dedicated to respecting the environment and organized by the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association. The competition theme is Awakening-Original, Green, Healthy. A jury of fashion experts will select the award winners in Shenzen next 12th December.
