TEACHING IS MOVING ONLINE AT ISTITUTO SECOLI

"With the aim of transforming an objective problem, caused by the current situation, into opportunities, we are integrating in each training course new tools and study methods that can be used by everyone from anywhere" - comments Matteo Secoli, President of the Institute.

With these words, the Istituto Secoli was also equipped to face the spread of Coronavirus, transferring the teaching of "knowing how to make fashion" online. The Google Classroom application is used, a web service for schools and universities that aims to simplify the creation and distribution of educational material, the assignment and evaluation of online tasks.

Thanks to the use of this platform, students will participate in their study class in a "virtual" way: not only handouts and explanatory and tutorial video content but live lessons, in-depth conference calls and tutoring activities moderated by teachers for the review of projects and theses.

In addition, there is the plan to integrate an e-meeting calendar that allows students to meet some of the main players in the sector via the web, listening to their direct experiences in the field.

Concludes the President "At this moment, guaranteeing our students continuity is a priority for us."
