ISTITUTO SECOLI CHOOSES FASHION GRADUATE ITALY FOR THE DEBUT OF GLOCAL-MILAN MEETS GUADALAJARA AND ITS 8 DESIGNER TO WATCH

The Secoli Institute confirms its participation in Fashion Graduate Italia, the four open days of fashion shows, panels, meetings and workshops that host industry experts and dedicated spaces where visitors can relate to the different visions of the fashion system, promoted from the best Italian educational institutions.

Scheduled from 27th to 30th October, the event will take place in one of the most iconic spaces of the Milanese capital - BASE MILANO -.

Once again our Institute will participate with its own dedicated space and will be at the forefront with numerous important events:

on the catwalk on October 28 the unpublished capsule collection "GLOCAL - MILAN MEETS GUADALAJARA" result of the pilot project "Jaliscocrea Milan-Guadalajara City to City Cooperation in Fashion & Design" -which involved Istituto Secoli and the University of Guadalajara alongside prestigious Italian and Mexican institutions of the two cities - in the conception and development of a transcultural fashion collection. Next, on the same day, the moment of the Designer to Watch where the capsules of 8 emerging talents of the fashion scene will be on show;

Also on Monday 28th the unmissable appointment with the COLLECTIVE SHOW: SUSTAINABLE VISIONS with sustainable outfits created by the young designer Micol Rizzi, representing our Institute.

Last but not least, on the 29th at 11.00 am the workshop entitled "Menswear Design" which will feature the teachers of the School, available to answer the questions related to the creation of a male suit, analyzing the different stages of development; two styles were treated during the meeting: the most current trends as opposed to classic tailoring.
