Giovanni Notarnicola, already among the 2021 Designers to Watch and alumni of Istituto Secoli’s Menswear Undergraduate Course, is among Mittelmoda’s finalists and will present his capsule collection METAMORPHOSIS. The collection stands as a declaration against our society stereotypes. Its metaphorical message is based on the idea that, from the very moment of conception, human beings are influenced by the outside world, which inevitably changes their natural evolutionary path. The transformation concept is conveyed by the patterns of the garments, especially outerwear, altered in their most traditional codes.
