Xinya Li is a young Chinese designer; she graduated from Istituto Secoli in 2019. That same year, Xinya showed her capsule collection “8844.43 RHAPSODY” as Designer to Watch Secoli, both at the Secoli Fashion Show and at the FGI - Fashion Graduate Italia.

8844.43 is the height of Everest: this number symbolizes a spiritual aura where calm reigns supreme - in contrast to rhapsody. In the “8844.43 RHAPSODY” collection, traditional and technical fabrics are mixed, the primary colours enhance the Tibetan architecture. The prints evoke art inspired by the Thang-ga style - reproducing a design, which springs from her personal story.
